AEGIRON and INTEC on a Growth Trajectory Under Christoph Otten
Raffael Klaschka assumes the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at EUROBOTICS GmbH effective today, Monday, June 1, 2026. The company, headquartered in Gilching near Munich, develops, integrates, and operates unmanned systems for missions underwater, at sea, on land, and in the air.
Klaschka, 47, takes over the CEO position from Christoph Otten, who had led EUROBOTICS as its founding managing director since March 2026. “Raffael Klaschka brings the perfect combination of passion, innovative spirit, expertise, and a strong network to lead and further develop EUROBOTICS on its growth path in the coming years,” says Christoph Otten, expressing his delight at the appointment. “With him at the top, EUROBOTICS will become a strong, internationally positioned player in the drone and robotics industry,” Otten continues, noting that with Klaschka’s appointment as EUROBOTICS CEO, he will now focus more intensively on his role as CEO of AEGIRON GmbH. “Expanding and further developing AEGIRON—the defence division of Armira Beteiligungen GmbH & Co. KG—through partnerships and acquisitions is a major challenge and offers tremendous opportunities,” says Otten, who, in addition to his role as AEGIRON CEO, will remain managing director of INTEC Industrie-Technik GmbH and INTEC Holding GmbH.
Raffael Klaschka said at the company’s headquarters in Gilching: “EUROBOTICS is one of the most exciting companies in an industry that is hard to beat in terms of dynamism and opportunities. I look forward to working with a highly motivated and innovative team to create and further develop technologies that make an immense contribution to our security, defence capabilities, and resilience.”
Raffael Klaschka has many years of experience in the security and defence industry. He began his professional career as an officer and fighter pilot in the German Air Force. After ending his active military career, he held leadership positions at companies including Eurofighter Jagdflugzeug GmbH and ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH, and most recently served as Vice President of Defense & Aerospace at msg systems ag.
With the appointment of Raffael Klaschka as CEO, EUROBOTICS GmbH is taking another significant step in its development toward becoming a leading international technology company in the defence and security industry. In early May, Lars Zander assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at EUROBOTICS and now leads the company together with Raffael Klaschka.
